Originally established as a 9-hole course, Cebu Country Club evolved into a full 18-hole championship layout and later underwent refinement through the redesign expertise of Gary Player and his associates.
Today, the course offers a strategic yet enjoyable challenge for golfers of every level — balancing competitive play with the quiet beauty of its tropical surroundings.

Relief & Drop Areas
Drop Areas
To hasten play, designated drop areas have been established for balls declared unplayable in certain areas of the course.
Edger Relief
Free relief is granted for balls lying on the demarcation between the fringe and fairway.
Bridgeways
All bridgeways, cemented paths, and walkways crossing red penalty areas are considered part of the penalty area.
Ornamental Areas
Free relief must be taken for balls lying in ornamental or decorative plant areas and designated teeing areas.
Abnormal Course Conditions
Cracks
Players may take free relief from cracks in the general area if any part of the ball lies below the surface. Hairline or surface cracks must be played as they lie.
Relief may be taken within one club length from the nearest point of relief, not nearer to the hole.
Tire Marks
Balls resting in tire marks caused by golf carts, tractors, maintenance vehicles, or push carts may take free relief.
